How to Install WordPress with Softaculous

Learn how to install WordPress with one click using the Softaculous scripts installer.

WordPress can be installed manually, but Web Hosting Canada includes a script installer in cPanel which can accomplish the process with a single click. This makes it easy to set up new WordPress websites, whether it is for your own purposes, for a client, or just to run some tests.

In case you’ve never used Softaculous before, this tutorial starts out in the WHC client area and navigates through cPanel to the apps installer. From there all you need to do is open the installer, fill out some information, and click the install button!

If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to ask them here in the comments. We did our best to include all the important details required for creating a new installation of WordPress, but if there’s any additional information you need we’d be happy to provide it here, or include the answer in a future tutorial.

Web Hosting Canada is dedicated to helping small businesses grow, so it makes a great environment for setting up and managing your first website. If you’re new to WordPress, make sure to subscribe to this channel; we’ll be producing many more tutorials in the near future.
